ABOUT

34-Ten is an architecture firm located in a comfortable storefront office in Chicago’s Avondale neighborhood. Our experience includes a range of residential project types, furniture, and commercial interiors. We are always seeking new challenges. If you’re pondering a project, please tell us about it. We’d be delighted to listen and help you find a way to bring it to fruition.

ARCHITECTURE IS OUR PASSION

The history of architecture is rich in tradition, with many movements and stylistic traditions throughout its history. The entire history of building offers lessons to draw on. As a result, we’re not committed to any particular style or movement. Your project’s constraints will ultimately determine the aesthetic.

WE LOVE OLD BUILDINGS AND WE KNOW THEM WELL

Each building has a unique history, and we enjoy unraveling that distinctive past to better understand the project. We take valuable lessons from each completed project and apply them to the next.

OUR GOAL IS SIMPLY TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM

This involves listening to our clients and asking the right questions. Individual projects are never about us. They’re the result of a collaboration with the client. We approach each project individually and work toward a unique outcome.

WE WORK WITH WHAT YOU HAVE

One challenge in architecture is to create an excellent space within economic parameters. This often involves working with existing conditions the best we can. It’s easy to throw money at a project and produce a successful outcome. Our goal is to deliver a sustainable, aesthetically appealing project within your budget. This pushes us to create innovative solutions in every aspect.

WE’LL GET IT BUILT

An architectural concept is only successful when it becomes a reality. On-site experience gives us the distinct advantage of understanding materials and how they perform in the real world. This, coupled with our strong background in permitting, will get your project built.
