Summary: Rehabilitation of an existing ice rink.
This project was a complete interior rehabilitation of an existing ice rink located in Lake Barrington, Illinois. Originally built in the 70s, it fell victim to serious deferred maintenance over the years. With a recent change in ownership came a renewed desire to bring this ice rink back to life. New improvements include a cosmetic interior facelift and significant mechanical equipment upgrades, including a new dehumidification system which is critical to the stability and quality of the ice. Now the rink is back in service providing ice time to numerous youth hockey teams and to the local community.
